: This study was approved by the ethical committee of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of South China University of Technology, Foshan, Guangdong, China. Specific measures regarding image anonymization are outlined as follows: the laparoscopic images utilized in this study focused solely on the surgical operation area, intentionally excluding patients’ facial features, body surface characteristics, or unique identifiers. No extraneous non-critical regions (for example, surgical instrument brand labels) were captured, effectively mitigating risks of patient identity disclosure. Original data are securely stored in hospital-encrypted servers, accessible exclusively to research team members after desensitization procedures.
: Written informed consent was obtained from the patient for publication of this case report and any accompanying images. A copy of the written consent is available for review by the Editor-in-Chief of this journal.
