Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All procedures involving human tissue performed in the study were carried out in accordance with accepted ethical standards contained in the Declaration of Helsinki 1975 (as revised in 2000). All patients were informed prior, in detail, about the purpose of and methods involved in the study. Informed consents of the patients were obtained.The study protocol was approved by the local bioethics committee at the Regional Specialist Hospital, Research and Development Centre in Wroclaw (No. KB/27/2015).All animal experimental procedures were approved by the Local Committee for Experiments with the Use of Laboratory Animals, Wroclaw, Poland (permission no. 47/2018) and performed in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Principles and Guidelines for the Use of Animals in Research, Marketing and Education issued by the New York Academy of Sciences’ Ad Hoc Committee on Animal Research.
