: The punch skin biopsy from a homozygous alphap-1-antitrypsin deficiency with Pi*ZZ genotype patient was freely donated for this study. Prior informed consent in writing was obtained and the study was revised and approved by the institutional ethical committee (title: Nuevas estrategias para generar hepatocitos humanos mediante reprogramación cellular, approved Oct 5th 2015; number 2014-0672). Human liver samples were obtained from three different donors.
