Declarations
:
: A-MSCs from lipoaspirates (healthy donors of both gender in a range of age 47–25 years) were processed in Heidelberg after obtaining informed consent (Mannheim Ethics Commission; vote number 2006-192NMA). BM-MSCs provided by Galway were isolated from bone marrow aspirates (healthy young male donors) purchased from Lonza (Basel, Switzerland), and UC-MSCs with informed consent obtained in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki were sourced from the NHS Blood and Transplant and transferred to the University of Liverpool. All animal procedures were performed under a licence granted under the UK’s Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 and were approved by the University of Liverpool Animal Welfare and Ethics Research Board.
