: The study was conducted following Good Clinical Practice guidelines and the Declaration of Helsinki The Research Ethics Committee approved the project titled "Comparing the therapeutic potential between autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells and allogenic Wharton jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells in diabetic patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia: a pilot study" at FOSCAL, Colombia, Act. No. 17/May 26th, 2017, and the study was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05631444).
