: This clinical trial protocol entitled: “Phase I/II prospective open-label non-randomized clinical trial of treatment of post-operative air leak after pulmonary resection in high-risk patients with the administration of autologous mesenchymal cells” was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee at Salamanca University Hospital (code number: 13/1005, date of approval: 25/02/2013) and the Spanish Medicine Agency (AEMPS) (date of approval: 21/10/2013).
