: Healthy liver biopsies (n = 5 independent donors, two males and three females) were collected from donor livers during liver transplantation procedures at Erasmus MC-University Medical Center Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The use of the human tissue for research purposes is approved by the Medical Ethical Council of the Erasmus MC-University Medical Center (Title research protocol: “Levertransplantatie- en leverziekten gerelateerd onderzoek”; approval number: MEC-2014-060) and informed consent from the patients (transplant recipients).
