: All cord blood and fetal liver donations were performed in compliance with the SingHealth Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB) guidelines and written informed consent for tissue donation was obtained from all donors. CIRB #2013/778/D titled “Derivation of Stem Cells from Perinatal Birth Tissues” CIRB #2013/837/D titled “Ontogeny of the Fetal Immune System” were first approved in November 2013 and both protocols are renewed yearly. For human plasma sample collection, the study was approved by the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Domain Specific Review Board (#DSRB-2011/01917). Written informed consent was obtained from the participants before recruitment.
