: Procedures related to human adipose-derived stem cell isolation were approved by the Research Ethics Committee of National Taiwan University Hospital. The research project titled “Isolation and Characterization of Adipose-derived Stem cells from Human Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue” was approved on April 1, 2013 (No. 201303038RINB), and the informed consent was obtained from each donor of adipose tissue. All animal experiments were performed in compliance with the guidelines mandated by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Taipei Medical University.
