: Human material: Lipoaspirate was obtained from seven healthy donors undergoing elective plastic surgery after informed consent and according to a protocol approved by the Ethics Committee of Basel University Hospital and local authorities (title: ‘Herstellung dreidimensionaler Gewebe aus isolierten Zellen’, Permit number 78/07 of the Ethikkommission beider Basel, Basel, Switzerland, 22.03.2007). All investigations conform to the declaration of Helsinki. Animal studies: Animals were treated in compliance with the Swiss local and Federal guidelines for animal welfare, as well as international legislature.
