: Adipose tissue samples were obtained from healthy female donors undergoing an aesthetic liposuction procedure at Erfan Hospital (Tehran, Iran). Written informed consent was obtained from the donors participating in the study. All procedures that involved human samples and animal experiments were approved by the Ethics Committee of Tarbiat Modares University on June 16, 2019, with approval number of IR.MODARES.REC.1398.076. Title of the approved project was “Evaluation of the effects of klotho-expressing human adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells transplantation on the CNS inflammation in the Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE) mouse model”.
