: The Ethics Committee of Tangdu Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University approved the study protocol entitled “Clinical Study of Placenta-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells Combined with Microenergy for Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in Diabetes Mellitus” under approval number JJ202310-02 on October 30, 2023. The ethical approval encompassed the use of placenta tissue, and no additional approval was necessary. All participants provided written informed consent and all study procedures, including the use of human placenta tissue for mesenchymal stem cell isolation, were conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. All participants received both written and verbal explanations of the study’s risks, benefits, and alternatives, with measures to ensure comprehension across diverse literacy levels.
