: Two cell lines were used in this study: the iPSC line 8/25 and DF6–9–9T.B (WiCell). DF6-9-9T.B cells were obtained from WiCell, while iPSC line 8/25 cells were received from Prof. Dr. Peter Wernet, Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf Medical School, Germany. The iPSC line 8/25 cells were originally isolated from human cord blood (CB), growing adherently, and expanded as described previously [].
