: All the experiments complied with the ARRIVE guidelines 2.0 and were reviewed and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Science, which is approved by the project titled “Evaluation of inner ear pathology and novel electrodes for repetitive drug delivery in a porcine model of cochlear implantation” (No. IACUC-OE-2023–07-003) and comes into effect on March 1, 2023.
