: The Ethics Committee of the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne (authorization number 14–306) approved patient tissue collection and use for generating hiPSCs. Title of the project : European Bank of pluripotent Stem Cells (EBiSC). Date of approval : 28.10.2015. Further hiPSC study at the LMU was approved by the Ethics Committee approval at LMU (23–0203). Title of the project : Stabilization of cell adhesion in cardiomyocytes by adrenergic stimulation. Date of approval : 13.03.2023. hiPSCs were isolated from individuals/relatives who gave written informed consent for participation in the study and/or the use of samples. Animal handling was done under the guidelines from Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and approved by the regional government of Upper Bavaria (Gz. ROB-55.2-2532.Vet_02-19-172, for Jup mice). Title of the project : Framework application for breeding transgenic/genetically modified mouse lines. The genetic modifications affect cell adhesion genes. Date of approval : 03.06.2020. The local ethics committee of the government of Lower Franconia (RUF-55.2.2-2532-2-663 for Pkp2 mice). Title of the project : Role of a tandem peptide (TP) and the GSK-3β inhibitor SB2 in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ACM) in a genetically modified mouse model. Date of approval : 05.04.2018.
