: The animal experiments were approved by the Animal Experimental Ethical Inspection Committee of Southeast University, Nanjing (Project title: “Enhanced Therapeutic Efficacy of Repeated Bone Marrow–Derived MSC Administration in a Murine Model of Pulmonary Fibrosis”; Approval No. 20220228013; Date of approval: February 28, 2022). All procedures involving animals were conducted in accordance with institutional and national guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals. The BMSCs used in this study were purchased from the Nanjing Drum Tower Clinical Stem Cell Center (Nanjing University Medical School Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital, Nanjing, China). According to documentation provided by the vendor, the original collection of human samples was conducted under approved ethical protocols (Approval No. 2017-161-09; Project title: “Isolation of stem cells from clinical patient samples [tissues/blood/body fluids] and fetal tissues from elective terminations for studies in regenerative medicine and clinical disease treatment”; Source: Nanjing Drum Tower Clinical Stem Cell Center, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital; Review date: December 12, 2024).
