: All procedures involving human participants and animals were carried out in full compliance with established ethical standards. The protocol for the collection of human samples was reviewed and approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital (Approval No. 2021003) on November 19, 2021. The approved study, titled “Collection of Human Umbilical Cord Tissue for the Implementation of Registered Stem Cell Clinical Research Projects,” included the acquisition of umbilical cord tissue from three healthy donors. Written informed consent was obtained from each donor or from legally authorized representatives before participation. The animal studies were reviewed and approved by the Animal Research Ethics Committee of Xiamen University (Approval No. XMYY-2025KYSB112) on March 3, 2025. The approved project, entitled “Mechanisms of the IOD–Intestinal Microbiota–AhR Axis in Regulating Tryptophan Metabolism in Inflammatory Bowel Disease,” was conducted in accordance with all applicable institutional and national guidelines.
