Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study was performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval for the human-related components was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of Seoul National University Hospital (Title: Comparison between Stromal Vascular Fraction and Adipose-Derived Stromal Cells in Small-Volume Cell-Assisted Lipotransfer; IRB No. 2306-179-1443; approval date: July 7, 2023). Adipose samples used in this study were obtained from discarded tissue from prior breast reconstruction procedures. Donors had authorized the secondary research use of residual surgical materials as part of routine clinical consent. All specimens were anonymized and archived in a human tissue repository approved by the Institutional Review Board of Seoul National University Hospital (IRB No. 1506-136-683). All animal experiments were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Seoul National University Hospital (Title: Comparison between Stromal Vascular Fraction and Adipose-Derived Stromal Cells in Small-Volume Cell-Assisted Lipotransfer; IACUC No. 23-0195-C1A0; approval date: July 14, 2023) and were conducted in accordance with the US Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.
