Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Edinburgh Stroke Study received ethical approval from the Lothian Research Ethics Committee (LREC/2001/4/46). This is a patient-consented dataset. We also received permission from the NHS Tayside Caldicott Guardian to use the anonymised brain imaging reports for this work.
