Waiver of consent was granted for use of data and only patients who had explicitly refused the use of their clinical data for research purposes were excluded. This study was conducted in compliance with the protocol, the current version of the Declaration of Helsinki, the ICH–GCP as well as other locally relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
