: S. Nithya received a B.E. degree in Information Technology from Avinashilingam Deemed University, Coimbatore, in 2004 and an M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2009 and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Anna University, Chennai. Her area of interest includes analysis of images, feature extraction, and texture classification.Dr. S. Ramakrishnan received a B.E. (ECE) in 1998, M.E. (CS) in 2000, and PhD degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2007. He is a Professor and the Head of IT Department, Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi. He has 18 years of teaching experience and 1 year industry experience. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and he is a Reviewer of 25 international journals including seven IEEE Transactions, five Elsevier Science Journals, three IET Journals, ACM Computing Reviews, Springer Journals, and Wiley Journals. He is in the editorial board of seven international journals. He is a Guest Editor of special issues in four international journals including Telecommunication Systems Journal of Springer. He has published 159 papers in international and national journals and conference proceedings. He has published a book on Wireless Sensor Networks for CRC Press, USA, and five books on Speech Processing, Pattern Recognition, and Fuzzy Logic for InTech Publisher, Croatia, and a book on Computational Techniques for Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany. His areas of research include digital image processing, information security, and soft computing.
