: The study protocol of all three PPSs was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of the University Hospital of Brussels (B.U.N. B14320097015, 143201316892 and 143201629152). Written informed consent was obtained from all eligible residents or from their proxy (legal representative) in case the resident could not give his or her consent. Unique study numbers were used for participating facilities and residents to ensure confidentiality. All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
