: Ethical clearance was obtained from the institute of public health ethical review board (IRB), the college of medicine and health sciences, University of Gondar. Communication with the health institution administrator and department head was made through a formal letter obtained from the University of Gondar. Verbal informed consent was obtained from all women presenting for care (or their caregivers) before data collection. To keep confidentiality of any information provided by the study subjects, the data collection procedure was anonymous and keeping their privacy during the interview by interviewing them alone.
