: This study followed national and international ethical guidelines for human subjects in biomedical research. Ethical approval was received from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Jimma University (IHRPGD/499/21). Then permission letters from city administration officials were processed before starting data collection. Data collectors explained the study’s purpose to all participants and assured them that their information would be confidential. Before any data was collected, each respondent gave their written informed consent. Issues of confidentiality were maintained by removing any identifiers from the questionnaire. Respondents were allowed to ask questions and seek further clarification about the study. They were voluntary, and women had the right to withdraw during the entire period. All gathered information was treated as strictly confidential. All the data collected were kept confidential. The study did not involve any undue financial or non-financial inducement, and subjects were not persuaded or influenced to participate in the survey. A great effort was made to maximize the beneficial aspect of the study.
