The written informed consent was obtained from each participant or from the parent or legal guardian of a child prior to participation. The data, provided by Dusakawi, could not be assigned to any patient anymore, as it was provided from Dusakawi in an anonymized way. The indigenous Ethic committee board of the Organization Wiwa Yugumaiun Bunkanarrua Tayrona, which is the institution leading Dusakawi, approved and authorized the use of the data.
