: This study was reviewed and approved by the Makerere University School of Public Health’s Higher Degrees, Research and Ethics Committee (Protocol #: SPH-2021-158) and the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology ((Protocol #: HS2034ES). While we aimed to enroll men aged 15 + years, there were no men aged 15–17 years who were found to be eligible for the study. Based on the guidance from the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology, all participants aged 18 years or older can provide their own informed consent. Thus, all eligible participants provided written informed consent immediately after their eligibility screening but prior to participating in the survey interview.
