: The quantitative study components of EVALUNG have been approved by the Ethics Committee of the Hamburg Medical Association (reference number 2022-100917-BO-ff). Informed consent is not required for secondary use of anonymised data from the EVA-LCS. The data protection concept and the associated anonymisation concept have been approved by the responsible data protection officers of the GVS, DGUV and participating UVT. Linkage to cancer registry data is still under development and subject to approval by the relevant committees and authorities. Participation in the qualitative interviews is voluntary for screening-participants and physicians. Informed consent will be obtained in advance. The qualitative study was approved by the Local Psychological Ethics Committee of the Centre for Psychosocial Medicine at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (reference number LPEK-0589).
