: Ethical approval for this research was granted by the University of Gondar’s Institutional Ethical Review Board (Reference Number: V/P/RCS/05/861–2021). Besides, permission to collect data was secured from the Zonal and district health departments and the health facilities. Before each interview, participants were given an information sheet in Amharic detailing the study for their reading. The audio recording was done after participants provided informed consent.
