: The Antioquia University, Medial Faculty, Ethical Committee of Clinical research approved the study on 04.02.2016 (File number 002/2016, study protocol version 1). Additionally, the Fundacion Universitaria Ciencias de la Salud, Medical Faculty and Ethical Committee of clinical research of San Jose Hospital approved the study on 08.08.2016 ( File number 426 study protocol version 1). The respective review boards of participating sites also approved the study.This study is designed in accordance to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.All patients participating in this study have received appropriate and sufficient information about the TIVA closed loop system, including risks, benefits, and alternatives to TIVA closed loop.Written informed consent was obtained from every patient before to initiate the surgery procedure and documented according to national, local, and institutional requirements.
