: The WACH project was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Leipzig (vote no. 034/18-ek) and the ethics committees of the medical associations in all federal states involved (Lower Saxony, North Rhine Westphalia, Rhineland Palatinate, and Saxony). The questionnaire survey from which data are reported here was approved by all employee committees of the participating hospitals. It was part of the first phase of WACH but was not registered as a clinical trial.
