: The study approval was granted by the Ethical Review Board in Gothenburg, Sweden (reference No: 166 − 15 and 327 − 17, amendment No: 2022-0270-02). The four principal requirements of the Helsinki Declaration, which are autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice, were upheld in this study []. Healthcare professionals were provided with written information stating their participation was voluntary and they could withdraw from the study anytime. Similarly, patient data were collected from a local quality registry, and patients were given written information about the use of their data and informed about the process for withdrawing their participation or opting out of data use. However, this project was conducted within the framework of improved patient safety, thereby limiting the feasibility of patients explicitly expressing a preference against adherence to bundle intervention by the healthcare professionals.
