: All patients were informed about the utilization of their personal data for research purposes and were provided with the opportunity to opt out (either during or after their intensive care stay; in instances where a patient was unable to refuse participation, their family or close relatives could decline data usage on their behalf). As per French regulations, formal written consent was not mandatory. The study adhered to the ethical guidelines outlined in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its subsequent revisions. Approval for the database was obtained from the “Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés” (Number 919149) and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) (CPP SUD EST—IRB 00009118).
