: The National Agriculture Research Organization of Uganda and the Tanzania Agriculture Research Institute, both of which have the legal authority to conduct research in their local communities and engage with farmers, were contacted to request permission to carry out the preference ranking exercise in the areas under their respective research jurisdiction.
