: This study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST-26/22). Verbal consent was sought from respondents before administering the questionnaires and from caregivers before conducting anthropometric measurements on children under 5 years.
