The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committees of the Hinggan League Central for Disease Control and Prevention. Informed consent was obtained from all of the patients prior to diagnosis. <i>Brucella</i> spp. was isolated from patients’ blood samples following confirmation of their consent.
