: Fecal collection from animals were approved by the Experimental Animals Ethics Committee of Zhejiang University (permit no. ZJU20250029) in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China. All relevant ethical regulations for animal handling were complied. The original study involving human samples was approved by the Ethics Committee of Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (permit no. 2022-034-01). All participants provided informed consent for sample storage and potential future research. As the samples were fully anonymized and the research posed no additional risk, the ethics committee waived the requirement for renewed consent.
