Ethics approval and consent to participate: The study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. All confirmed and suspected cases were managed according to the recommendations in force in New Caledonia in 2023. As all patients presented with non-severe disease, treatment consisted solely of symptomatic management. Ethical approval was obtained from the New Caledonia Ethics Committee (approval no. 2023-04-001). Written informed consent was waived due to the retrospective nature of the study and the use of anonymized data. Data collection was declared in accordance with the French data protection reference methodology MR-003 of the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés on February 2, 2023.
