: This is the first study that empirically examines the psychometric properties, dimensional structure, and sex invariance of the Spanish version of the brief Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q7) in a Spanish sample. The findings provide evidence of the validity of this widely used measure in research on eating disorders, which will allow future comparisons between Spanish and non-Spanish samples.
