Ethics approval and consent to participate

: This study was carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and its amendments as well as the ethical guidelines of the Swiss Psychological Society. Because this study did not involve an experimental manipulation and because there are no foreseeable risks involved, we did not seek approval from an ethics committee. There is no national legal requirement to seek formal ethical approval for psychological studies, unless they include participants’ diagnoses or other medical measures. (Swiss Confederation, 2011).
