: The research was approved by the School of Psychology Research Ethics and Governance Committee (Ethics reference number: 2019-16571A14583). Ethical approval was also granted, and research conducted on behalf of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health (reference number: 3161). All participants received written and verbal briefs that explained the purpose of the study and what participation entails, and the assurance that their data will be anonymised in any publications and reports. The parents signed consent forms and were fully debriefed at the end; this included the option to withdraw at any point without penalty. Informed consent was explicitly sought for and obtained for both participation and (anonymised) publication. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
