: The project"Effectiveness of an Intervention Model Based on Gratitude, Pride, and Empathy on Mental Health in Children,"from which this manuscript is derived, was approved by the Local Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Universidad del Sinú, Montería, Colombia, on April 30, 2024 with record number 003. They recommended endorsing the project because there were no issues in its execution and granted permission for data collection from humans after obtaining informed consent from all participants (the Ethics Committee's record is attached in the supplementary file of the manuscript). Potential participants were approached in their respective school classrooms; the scope of the study was explained to them; subsequently, their legal guardians were contacted in a general meeting, where the project was presented, and the participation of their wards (minors) in the study was explained. Only the children whose legal guardians signed the informed consent form participated. The procedure was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the guidelines of the Colombian College of Psychologists (COLPSIC). No personal data was recorded to identify the participants; the information from the instruments was coded. All participants provided their informed, voluntary, and written consent in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
