: Both studies were conducted in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki []. Both studies were approved by the Ethics Committee of the Technical University of Munich (app-based intervention study: vote number 56/18S; CoronabaBY study: vote number 322/20S) and were pre-registered (app-based intervention study: German Register of Clinical Studies DRKS00019001; CoronabaBY study: OSF ). Also, informed consent was obtained from all participants in both studies. In the app-based intervention study, study information was presented orally and via paper-and-pencil and consent was given in writing on paper.
