: This study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and received approval from the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Casablanca (approval number:05/2025).Oral informed consent was obtained from all participants, as stipulated by the Ethics Committee’s approval.Patients who scored within the clinical range on the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) for anxiety and/or depression were offered individual follow-up with a clinical psychologist affiliated with the oncology unit. A brief supportive session was proposed, and those requiring further care were referred to the hospital’s psycho-oncology service. This safeguard procedure was fully explained to participants during the consent process. All study procedures were conducted in accordance with relevant institutional guidelines and regulatory standards.
