: No permission was needed to capture willow warblers (non-Red Data book species) in Russia, according to the Federal Law on Animal Kingdom. An Ethical permission from Lund-Malmö Djurförsöksetiska Nämnd (M72:15) was given to SÅ for GLS tracking of willow warblers in Sweden.
