Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Sampling in the biosphere reserve “Oberlausitzer Heide- und Teichlandschaft” was approved by the higher conservation authority “Landesdirektion Sachsen”. Animal experiments were reported to the veterinarian office of “Stadtratsamt Görlitz” and were legal without permission under the EU Directive 2010/63/EU on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes.
