: The field study here presented involved 1 species of bat listed as Least Concern (LC) in the IUCN Red List and not listed under the CITES agreement. The research did not involve sample collection from the animals. The research was conducted under the following permits: National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) n. NACOSTI/P/16/21446/14491 and NACOSTI/P/18/21446/20296, and under the affiliation with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) throughout the period involved in the study to conduct work within the border of Sibiloi National Park. Capture of the animals was covered by permit nr. NEMA/AGR/70/2016 from the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). Animals were handled following the guidelines listed by the Bat Conservation Trust [].
