: This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki . At the time of the study design, the Faculty Research Support Committee of the Faculty of Humanities at Eötvös Loránd University was not functioning and therefore unavailable for formal ethics approval. However, the research involved only anonymised questionnaire data, and no personal identifying information was collected.All participants were informed about the purpose of the study, the voluntary nature of their participation, and the confidentiality of their responses. By proceeding with the online survey, they indicated their informed consent to participate. They were not required to provide their name or contact information but were asked to indicate their participants’ country of origin, age, gender, years of English education, English proficiency level, previous experience with English proficiency tests, and familiarity with scanning techniques.
