: Patients planned for surgery of a suspected GBM at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) were enrolled (clinicaltrials.gov, NCT02904525) with written informed consent. The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, and the protocol was approved by the local ethics committee CER-VD (F-25/99, 268/14). Animal protocols were designed under 3R considerations and all procedures were performed under anesthesia/ analgesia, and protocols were approved by the concerned Swiss authorities (VD-1181_6; VD-2777).
