: The study was conducted using results from diagnostic testing that had already been completed and made publicly available at the owners’ request. The eye examination is performed by a certified veterinarian and is considered non-invasive, safe and pain free. DNA-samples collected specifically for this project were collected using buccal swabs administered by the owner. Owners’ consent for use in research were obtained for all dogs included in the study.
