: This study was a retrospective review of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Wide-ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research (CDC WONDER) database, a database that does not include patient identifiers, and therefore did not require Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. The database is available to the public online on the CDC WONDER website, and data that have the potential for breach of confidentiality are suppressed and not released. The database omits all identifiers required to be excluded from de-identified data sets as defined by the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
